£28 - £32 per hour

Planned Works Officer

Morgan Hunt are working with a specialist housing provider to bring in a Planned Works Officer on a 3 month temporary basis.

Job Title: Planned Works Officer

Location: Flexible working from home (1 to 2 days per week from Westminster Office)

Hourly rate: £28-32 LTD

Contract: 3 months on going


  • To source contractors to undertake ad-hoc major works/repair works to various properties around England and Wales
  • Investigate the nature of the works required and ensure there is a clear brief to the contractor/consultants
  • Review quotations received, raise any queries or clarifications with the contractor
  • Provide the contractor with a brief as to the nature of works required
  • Prepare case management forms for review
  • Upon completion of the works arrange when required a post inspection of the works via our Complex Case and Void Managers who are regionally based
  • Upon completion of the works ensure all relevant certification for the works has been provided by the contractor and recorded within our housing management systems

Essential Experience:

  • Experience of communication effectively and maintaining good relationships with residents, contractors and colleagues.
  • Experience of complex surveying and building maintenance issues
  • Proven experience as a planned surveyor within a housing maintenance or asset team
  • Relevant qualifications with the building and construction industry
