Finance Manager
Morgan Hunt is recruiting for a hybrid Finance Manager role focusing on audit, within a prestigious Housing Association, based in central London. This role is paying £55,000 to £60,000 on a 6- 12 month fixed term contract . This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of London's finest Public Sector Organisations starting ASAP working both in the office and from home (a couple of days in the office to begin with then the role can transition to home working). This role will close early based on suitable applicants as they are looking for an immediate start.
As a Finance Manager you will be reporting to the Chief Executive, you will provide full Financial and Management Accounting service. This will involve working closely with colleagues, the Senior Management team and the Board; the main purpose of this role is to complete an audit across summer.
Main responsibilities of a Finance Manager:
- Advise on the financial implications of relevant legislation
- Prepare the annual budget, present the draft budget to the Board for approval
- Provide forecasting and out turn projections to assist much in medium and long term strategic planning
- Identify areas of risk and advise on appropriate risk management strategies
- Manage the primary accounting system and records and maintain them in accordance with current legislation and SORP or other relevant accounting standards
As a Finance Manager you would be covering:

- Financial Accounting & Audit
- Treasury Management
- Financial Policies and Controls
As a Finance Manager, it would be ideal if you have:
- A qualification in ICAEW, ACCA, CIPFA or equivalent
- A degree or equivalent
- Good numeracy, literacy and oral skills
- Competent in IT skills
- 'Can do' attitude
