Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing Lead - Leading UK Charity - London/Surrey with hybrid working

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing Specialist to join a highly respected UK charity.

Reporting in to the People Director you will be responsible for creating, implementing and embedding their Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing strategies. Your key accountabilities will include:-

• Ensuring that all D&I and Wellbeing initiatives are being implemented and observed throughout the organisation

• Embedding D&I and Wellbeing activities in to all People policies and procedures in line with best practice

• Supporting and guiding recruitment practices to help create a brand that appeals to diverse applicants and removes bias

• Working closely with the Learning & Development team to promote and develop training programmes to enhance employee understanding on D&I issues

• Working with the People team to support the ongoing development and education of managers with the creation of guidelines / toolkits

• Developing and managing relationships with key professional bodies and other relevant organisations, such as community groups,

• Representing the organisation on external forums and working groups

• Maintaining relationships with diversity related organisations, with the intention of working together and improving the organisation's brand

You should be a senior Diversity & Inclusion Specialist with a track record of developing and implementing Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing strategies. Experience of building strong relationships internally and with external groups/bodies needs to be combined with experience of building D&I networks and leading on training initiatives. It would be ideal if you have worked in the not for profit and private sectors.
