People Business Partner, Retail - Leading UK Charity - London with hybrid working

This is an exciting time for a People Business Partner to join a leading UK charity entering a period of growth.

Working closely with the Head of People you will play a key role in the planning, delivery and monitoring of People projects and large scale change initiatives. Your key accountabilities will include:-

• Ensuring the effective implementation of People policies across the Retail directorate

• Developing line manager training to improve their skills and capabilities

• Working with the People Development team to identify individual line manager training needs

• Providing advice and guidance on employee relations issues

• Supporting hiring manager with their recruitment campaigns

• Utilising key people data to highlight past trends and support future strategic decisions

• Taking the leading on people projects including systems & people processes

• Maintaining oversight and ensuring compliance across the volunteer administrative processes

You should have a broad HR generalist skill set including a good knowledge of employment law, experience of improving people policies, systems, and processes, supporting managers with recruitment and upskilling line managers. Strong communication skills need to be combined with experience of managing projects and working in multi-site environment. Experience of working in the charity or retail sector would be ideal.
