Salary: £80,000 pro rata (dependent on experience)
Location: Newbury, Berkshire
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time (30 hours/4 days per week)
Hybrid, flexible working arrangements.

About you
We are currently looking for an experienced finance professional to join our senior leadership team as the Finance Director to support further growth across the organisation so we can continue to meet the needs of our community and the local economy.
You will be ambitious and forward thinking and be prepared to work both strategically and operationally to ensure the College's financial stability and accurate financial reporting. This role would suit an experienced Finance Director or a rising star looking to take that first step into a Finance Director position.

Essential criteria:
Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Experience in Further Education sector
Experienced in the use of Finance/MIS systems, financial reporting at a strategic level, and producing financial procedures and policies
Strategic perspective on finance and business
Strong leadership skills
Enthusiastic, clear, and confident communicator.

Benefits:
Working hours: 30 hours per week (4 days, can be flexible)
Annual Leave: 35 days pro rata plus bank holidays
Local Government Pension: 26% contribution
