HR Operations Manager, 6 months FTC - Education Sector - London with hybrid working

This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional with experience of the full HR life cycle to join a respected educational organisation.

Reporting in to the HR Director you will be responsible for the smooth running of the HR function across the organisation. Your key accountabilities will include:-

  • Supporting the delivery of key strategic HR objectives
  • Managing, leading and supporting the school-based HR teams with the full HR Life Cycle and complex casework issues
  • Helping to develop a positive employee relations culture with a focus on equality, staff engagement and well-being
  • Leading on the implementation and embedding of new HR processes and procedures and ways of working
  • Supporting the embedding, maintenance and progression of a new integrated HR/Payroll management information system
  • Supporting the implementation of the Trust's new trade union consultation and negotiation arrangements
  • Driving and support positive change and best practice
  • Working with the HR Director to build positive relations with staff and leaders


You should be an experienced HR professional with a track record of developing and implementing HR policies and procedures. A good working knowledge of current employment legislation needs to be combined with experience of leading on and managing complex individual and organisation wide case work issues in a multi union environment. Experience of leading, coaching and managing a team is essential. Ideally you will have worked in the education sector.
