Morgan Hunt are currently working alongside an impressive and very well established Central London law firm on the appointment of a Legal Client Cashier to join their experienced and high performing finance team.

Known for their specialist expertise in Corporate, Dispute Resolution, Employment & Real Estate law, this top tier Central London law firm services an international community of clients across Europe & Asia, undertaking a range of cross border, multi-jurisdictional and complex work. With over 1000 people across multiple locations, this impressive law firm continues to go from strength to strength, with over 25% revenue growth in the past 5 years alone.

The Legal Client Cashier will play an integral role in maintaining a high quality Legal Cashiering service to the firm, reacting to the changing needs and priorities of the department and providing ad hoc support across the department where needed. The Legal Client Cashier will have a lot of autonomy however will be supported by another Client Cashier and report into a Legal Cashier Manager on a day to day operations.

The Legal Client Cashier's duties will include:

• Allocating and positing of all client funds receipts via online banking
• Client to Client and Client to Office transfers
• Daily & Monthly bank reconciliations
• Interest calculations, foreign currency transactions and assisting with residual balances
• Dealing with the opening, closing and maintaining of joint accounts

The ideal Legal Client Cashier will have:

• A minimum of 6 months legal cashiering experience within a law firm
• An understanding/ knowledge of the SRA rules
• A high level of attention to detail & excellent organisation skills.
• The ability to prioritise workload and work effectively as part of a team
• Strong and clear communication with a personable, confident and can do attitude.
• A keen desire to learn, develop and progress within their legal finance career.
