Morgan Hunt are currently working with a high-profile Professional Membership Body, in their search for a temporary Paralegal to provide assistance and support in relation to legal advice and representation of members in regulatory proceedings.
You will support with the representation and defence of members in regulatory proceedings in relation to alleged professional misconduct, allegations brought by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), and at Inquest.
This will involve managing case files, preparing cases and case bundles for a range of hearings, and obtaining and drafting witness statements. You will also undertake legal research, prepare legal documentation (including instructions and briefs), filing documents, attending hearings and taking notes in conferences and hearings.
The successful applicant will have strong legal experience, ideally within a claimant, trade union, healthcare or regulatory organisation. You will have experience gathering, interpreting and presenting information in an understandable format, drafting correspondence and ensuring customer service standards are met.
You have strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands, negotiate with good influencing skills and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Hourly Rate: £22.00 - £26.00 (PAYE)
