Job description

HR/Payroll Administrator. 3 month temporary role. Tower Hamlets. £15 per hour.

We have a fantastic opportunity for 2 HR Administrators to join a leading Government sector organisation on a 3-month temporary basis with the potential for extension. These HR Administrator role Is offering hybrid working with 1 day a week in their office located in Tower Hamlets.

Key responsibilities for the HR/Payroll Administrator:

  • Responsible for providing a front-line, comprehensive, and professional HR administration service for future, current and previous employees.
  • Update organisation charts and other reports as required, including from the HR & payroll systems.
  • To be responsible for inputting payroll information each month into the I-Trent system: input confidential personal data as well as file data in accordance with GDP R
  • Assisting the recruitment life-cycle - Posting jobs, on-boarding, processing references.
  • Deal with payroll requests to ensure employee salaries are processed promptly on a monthly basis.
  • Work closely with external payroll providers on payroll activities.

Person Specification for HR/Payroll Administrator:

  • Ability to use Microsoft packages at an intermediate level.
  • Proven administrative experience working in a HR environment and payroll.
  • Ability to multi-task and priorities workload effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Well organised and able to use own initiative.
