Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Cyber Regulation: Engagement & Advisory support member on a short term contract basis. This position can be worked fully remote.

Essential requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of Cyber Security
  • Cyber regulation engagement & advisory support experience

Desirable requirements:

  • Energy/national grid experience or background

About the role:

  • The Engagement & Advisory team are restructuring their approach to advisories, bi-laterals and the support on offer to the Operators of Essential Service (OES) under the NIS regulations and those same organisation under RIIO deemed Network Operators across Transmission, Distribution and System Operator(s).
  • Review, analyze and prepare the various outputs required for each RIIO submission e.g. in this instance the focus would be on National Grid (NG).
  • Support the existing workstreams with NG on their submissions for RIIO covering IT and OT Cyber
  • Facilitate and provide feedback to NG on a number of RIIO related areas following the existing RIIO process e.g. Re-opener applications and Price Control Deliverables.
  • Create and/or review minutes prepared by the OES or the Engagement & Advisory team prior to issue
  • Maintain the Engagement & Advisory meeting tracker for each of the touchpoints with the OES
  • Feed into and use the Engagement & Advisory Team Planner for workload forecasting and action tracking
  • Engage with OES on cyber resilience to improve understanding of NIS regulations and cyber resilience activities
  • Maintain an OES dashboard for each OES that can be utilized for management reporting and to build briefing packs
  • Produce sector and sub-sector analysis on OES cyber resilience status.

Details:

  • 8 week contract role until End of March 2023
  • Inside IR35
  • £600-750 based on experience
  • Fully remote role - can be worked from anywhere in the UK
