Job description

Are you a Business Analyst looking for a new exciting, very flexible role, at a leading charity?

(We are looking for x2 Business Analysts!)

This is a chance for you to enable the charity to work better through improvements in its use of technology and data. To deliver those improvements by working with internal staff and external suppliers to solve problems and bring the art of the possible to life.

You will be involved I fantastic projects inducing "Genesis which is one of tools that the service department use- which needs to move to the cloud. Also, their biggest technical project - Data centre (operation) migration

The purpose of the role is to act as an advisor to the various business functions in the society, helping to identify, plan and deliver their future needs. You will be a key specialist with responsibility for requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, delivery and testing of projects and product backlog items.

In this exciting new role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, system integrators and solution architects, you will define clear business needs and translate these into technical requirements.

Up to £46K (Plus excellent benefits package- 29 days of a/l and generous Pension Contribution)

12 month fixed term contract (potential for extension)

London or fully remote - (If you are London based and attending the office 1 or 2 days per week, then you will be entitled to LWA)

(If you are fully remote, based nationwide, you will get the homework allowance which is £500- annually)

Role responsibilities-

  • Work proactively with the charity business colleagues to delivery appropriate technology solutions that are consistent with the enterprise architecture, eliciting and challenging requirements and assumptions while applying your knowledge and experience to provide the optimal technology solutions to the business problem.
  • Work with he they charity's suppliers for delivery on projects and products, and in understanding the future roadmap of the technologies they use and how development might be beneficial to them.
  • Identify and manage stakeholders across the business to collect, understand, inspire, challenge, document and transmit their business requirements for projects and products, including running workshops, reviewing processes and performing pre-project problem analysis.

To be successful as a Business Analyst, you will-

  • Have excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Have the ability to explain complex technical information clearly and confidently to a range of technical and non- technical audience.
  • Have experience of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Be a go to person on development knowledge- be a reliable source of information.
  • Have either of these experiences- CRM experience/ Cloud based service experience- Azure or AWS/ Digital products- e.g. Website, Data and analytics- SQL or Power BI/ Integration/ Software as a service business application.
