Job description

Are you a Data Analyst based, looking for a new permanent role? If so one of Morgan Hunt's clients, a leading Housing Association, would love to hear from you!


£36,000- £36,500 pa (Plus excellent Benefits- generous leave, paid time off to volunteer..)


Hybrid working

Southeastern England. (close to London)


As a Data Analyst, you will be comfortable working with data and be responsible for supporting the Housing Association, to make data driven decisions based on data analysis, business insight and trends.

You will be responsible for using multiple sources of data to spot trends to identify areas for improvement and predict future patterns. Also, for the development of our business insight analysis and reporting. The role is using the organsiation's data across the business and building insight and analysis.


It is a very exciting time to join, as they are running lot's of one -off and long-term projects, for example, a 2 year programme of transformation and supporting change programmes and business in BAU. You will be looking after data integrity.


Here, you will always have opportunities if you have the right aptitude. You will be joining a growing team and working alongside a data analyst and performance analyst, and the wider team.


The role-

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for tasks including:


  • Gathering and analysing data to work with cross functional teams to identify trends and develop and investigate potential solutions including improvements to systems and process to drive business improvements.
  • Developing business Insight reporting using a wide range of existing data sets to support delivery of the annual plan and wider strategic plan.
  • Using data modelling techniques to identify ways the Housing Association can operate more effectively.
  • Using customer segmentation to support decision making and model behaviours.
  • Analysing performance and key indicators to support end to end business improvement reviews key service areas such as repairs, arrears and compliance checks to turn insight into foresight and predict future patterns.
  • Analysing, model and visualise data by using programming languages to interrogate data in Power BI.


As an experienced Data Analyst, with at least 1 year of experience, you will have experience in -


  • Using Power BI and be proficient with Microsoft Office packages including having Advanced Excel skills.
  • Having excellent Communication Skills- it is essential to communicate well with stakeholders and translate the data into meaningful insight.
  • Communicating clearly, tailoring the style as you will be presenting data to board members and colleagues.
  • Understanding data and partnering with the business to understand it though reporting.
  • Being part of the Journey move from insight to foresight- ability to predict future trends with data.
  • Ability to run, create and analyse reports with complex data sets.
  • Demonstrable analytic skills of complex data sets to model and visualise data.
