Job description

Are you a Data Governance and Quality Analyst, looking for a new exciting role, at a Leading Housing Association?

(hiring x2 posts)

The purpose of this role is to act as a link between the Housing Association's programme and their data governance groups, escalating issues and making sure governance decisions are implemented.

You will also support the business leads in the Housing Association's data governance groups, helping them document, understand and share findings so they feel supported and empowered to make improvements.

£35K (Excellent benefits package including 27 days' annual leave. Up to 11.3% Pension Contribution).

London

Flexible role (requirement to be in their office once/month in Southwest London.

18 month- fixed term contract.

 

Role responsibilities for this Data Governance and Quality Analyst role-

  • Investigate the organisation's key data domains: identifying users, capturing lineages, and documenting definitions, reference data, and business rules.
  • Carrying out root analysis before proposing improvements and documenting definitions.
  • Understanding data outcomes in the context of business activities, working with a Business Analyst to make process improvement recommendations.
  • Ensuring data governance decisions are informed by research and reflected in data outcomes.

To be successful as a Data Governance and Quality Analyst, you will-

  • Have strong SQL skills.
  • Having formal governance and data quality experience.
  • Experience of working with system users to understand and document data domains.
  • Experience in developing conceptual models.
  • Supporting data quality initiatives.
  • Documenting mappings for data migrations and quality assuring migration outcomes.

Desirable-

  • Social housing data experience.
  • A broad understanding of cloud technologies and Dynamics 365.
