Morgan Hunt are working with an Education organisation who are recruiting for a permanent Senior HR Business Partner. This growing, East London based, organisation is looking for a Senior HRBP and is paying from £45,000 to £50,000 dependant on experience/skills.

This Senior HRBP role will report into a Director and line manage 2 HR Advisors. The organisation is looking for a strong willed and confident individual to lead and guide the team and head up a majority of the HR activities for them. It will be to provide effective support, guidance and advice to managers and staff members and deliver strategic and operational people projects and initiatives that maximise performance and enable all employees to engage and contribute to the development of the organisation.

A summary of the main duties and responsibilities of the Senior HR Business Partner:

  1. Proactively lead, coach and manage HR Advisors in the provision of an effective HR service across the organisation.

  1. Act as senior point of contact and subject matter expert on complex employment cases and projects and provide HR related advice across the generalist range of the role.

  1. Provide advice and support to employees and managers in all aspects of the employee life-cycle including; recruitment and selection, on boarding, induction, performance management, and employee relations, engagement and well-being.

  1. Support the implementation of the organisation's people plans by pro-actively working with staff and line managers to develop a culture of responsibility and accountability for front line human resources management and embed a performance culture.

  1. Partner and coach managers to support the delivery of people plans and initiatives and encourage a culture of line manager responsibility and accountability for front line human resources.

  2. Proactively lead, manage and successfully deliver complex cross functional people projects across the organisation within specific time frames.
  3. Assist in the review, development and successful implementation of progressive people policies, processes and plans to drive continuous engagement and embed a performance culture across the organisation.

Person specification of the Senior HR Business Partner:

  1. Experience of successfully managing a HR team within a business partner model and delivering successful outcomes

  2. Demonstrable success of working in partnership to deliver and implement innovative people solutions that meet business needs, within a fast paced environment.

  3. Experience within operational and strategic HR service delivery.

  4. Experience of leading and delivering complex people projects and initiatives within specific deadlines.

  5. Experience of successfully developing and implementing a range of HR policies and procedures.

  6. Experience of delivering transformational change programmes, including restructuring.

  7. Designing and implementing innovative well-being initiatives and plans.

  8. Developing HR policies and procedures that meet business needs.

This role will be integral for the organisation and therefore will be mainly based in the office however they are flexible on homeworking as/when needed as well.
