Morgan Hunt are currently working with one of the UK's Education Provider in their search for an interim Project Manager (Business Development) to support a key market opportunity by leading the management of the overall opportunity assessment and application activity.

You will be responsible for driving the project plan for preparing for and submitting the application, supporting workstream leads, engaging internal and external stakeholders throughout the project, and ensuring on-time completion and submission of a high- quality application.

The successful candidate will be an experience Project Manager, having worked on end-to-end Business Development Projects. You will be a proactive, professional and skillful communicator with strong stakeholder management, influencing and problem solving skills. You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing demands. You will ideally have experience in the Education or Charity Sector.

The opportunity may include some limited evening and weekend work, for which time off in lieu will be given. Occasional travel across the regions required.

Annual Salary: £45,000 ( London Weighting

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (6 months, potential extension)

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities & Person Specification

  • Detail-oriented project manager: Able to implement a large project (e.g., by constructing a workplan with sensible sequencing, milestones, and KPIs) and to lead the end-to-end project
  • Stakeholder management: Able to work effectively with senior stakeholders and lead working groups
  • Track record of leading whole organisation-wide projects and in taking full ownership for the success of a project
  • Relationship builder and stakeholder manager: able to effectively communicate with, influence, and mobilise a variety of stakeholders across an organization
  • Excellent communicator: demonstrates strong verbal and written communication across a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Skillful operator: ability to think creatively in finding paths to implement projects and to anticipate and address potential hurdles/risks
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and is able manage multiple, competing demands
  • Professional: Manages sensitive information in a confidential manner, meets deadlines, proactively resolves conflicts, and supports a positive team environment
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure work is completed to a high standard and to the deadline
  • Strong listener who displays emotional intelligence and builds trust easily
  • Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
