Tenancy sustainment support workers needed!

Location: North London

Pay: £11 -13

Hours: 37.5 per week, across Monday - Friday, 9-5

Assignment: Initially 4 months with a likely extension

We are looking for a self-driven, compassionate, candidates who have a passion for changing the lives of vulnerable people.

We are recruiting for an exciting role working as a Housing advice worker across The North London area. You will be providing high quality professional housing advice to medium/high risk ex-offenders. With the aim of sustaining their tenancy or to secure new housing in accordance with their needs. This is a great opportunity to work with a well established charity and help clients change their lives for the better. This opportunity is a mixture of home/office working,

The successful candidate must have;

• An understanding of working in supported housing or floating support services, with a demonstrable knowledge of Housing and other related Legislation

• Experience of managing complex and difficult situations in relation to vulnerable people
• Ability to liaise effectively with a range of service providers or agencies in order to establish or improve services for clients

• Ability to be self-motivating, work under pressure, and manage and prioritise time effectively

• Ability to build relationships with a case load of vulnerable clients

• Be able to carry out and update needs and risk assessments

• Be able to provide tenancy sustainment advice whilst promoting independent life skills
