Data Analyst

Permanent role.

Remote working (minimum requirement to be in office once/week).

Up to £31000 per annum (Generous Annual leave and Pension Scheme- 12.5% employer contribution)

Morgan Hunt are delighted to be partnering with a reputable a not-for-profit organisation

to recruit a Data Analyst to ensure the accurate processing of data on the organisation's database to ensure accurate allocation and distribution of fees to their members within set timeframes.

This Data Analyst will be responsible for analysing data reporting and data cleansing via BI tool- so experience in this area is crucial.

This role also requires data inputting and dealing with members' queries regarding usage of their works - 60% is data entry and 40% is data analyst- this can be interchangeable depending on organisation's needs and requirements.

There are 4 other people in this Team, so this Data Analyst will be the 5th person- this is a small organisation- the team culture is collaborative, very friendly and dynamic.

This Data Analyst will need to be able to work on their own initiative also in a team. They need to bring in their excellent interpersonal skills.

The Data Analyst will need to be open and confident, as they will need to be able to comfortably ask questions to the team which will assist in their initial training.

They need experience in a customer services team with database experience (preferably SAP)

Requirements for this Data Analyst role-

  • You need to have excellent technical proficiency- experience of using databases i.e. BI Power Tool and have good data entry skills
  • Have really strong experience in Excel- advanced level is crucial. Also, in all Microsoft Office applications
  • You need to have good experience writing reports
  • Have accuracy in written and presentation skills- You will need to have a high level of communication for telephone queries.
  • Being IT Literate is mandatory.

  • You need to be dynamic, accountable, be able to take responsibility. (you will be representing a big slice of the IT Department which is regularly transforming).
  • You need to be aware of the development process and procedures of the organisation- new policies will need to be set in stone.
  • You need to be up to date with the process changes- i.e. running of reports and relaying that information to senior management including board members-they propose new systems.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
