Morgan Hunt have are proud to have partnered with an exemplary top 20 Central London law firm on their search for a qualified Management Accountant to join their team on a 6 month interim basis.
This Central London leading firm have a fantastic reputation within the legal market and are global leaders in a number of practice areas with expertise particularly covering litigation and dispute resolution. The award winning finance team support the firm globally producing a timely and accurate accurate service to both internal and external stakeholders, which the firm pride themselves on.
The key responsibilities for the Management Accountant will include:
- Development and production of management information within the firm
- Assisting in the production on monthly management accounts packs including financial statements, financial reports & board reports
- Preparing journals for payroll and completing the monthly payroll reconciliations
- Assisting the financial reporting manager with the design of procedures and processes for effective and timely reporting across the group
The successful Management Accountant will:
- Be fully a fully qualified accounting with previous experience of management accounting within the legal sector
- Have a strong understanding of accounting standards (IFRS/ UKGAAP)
- Have in depth accounting experience including producing P&L's, financial reporting & balance sheet reconciliation
- Have good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel (VLookups/ Pivot Tables) and previous experience using legal finance systems.
- Have high attention to detail, the ability to communicate both verbally and written at all levels and be a good team player.
This position is ideal for someone who is immediately available or coming to the end of a current contract.
