Morgan Hunt work with a number of Advocacy charities in London and are often looking for passionate individuals to join on a permanent basis.
Supporting people to speak up, Advocacy helps those voice their concerns, understand their rights and help make effective choices about what happens in their lives.
Some people might find it difficult to understand their care and support and might find it hard to speak up. As an Advocate you can help empower individuals to have a voice.
There are many different types of Advocacy including Mental Capacity Advocate, Mental Health Advocacy and NHS Complaints Advocacy. It is an incredibly rewarding position for people with experience within the mental health or care sector.
If you are a confident individual who enjoys talking to people and have a good understanding of the Mental Health Act, you could make a fantastic Advocate
You should have a good understanding of issues faced by people with mental health conditions, physical conditions and/or learning disabilities.
