Job description
I am currently looking for a Part time Housing Advice Worker to work within one of our charities based in North London. The role is 18.75 hours across 2/3 days Monday - Friday.
Part time Housing Advice Worker role is to provide guidance and advice to offenders aged 18 plus by conducting assessments of their support needs. This will be focused around Housing, employment and financial needs.
Within the Part time Housing Advice Worker position your responsibilities will be:
- Hold a case load around key work sessions to result in Support plans
- Provide an assessment on the clients support needs around employment financial needs and Housing
- Work with service users on a brief intervention basis to help sustain accommodation
- Helping service users to develop life skills around activities to improve independence
For this role you will need an Enhanced DBS within a year or one that is on the update service.
