Morgan Hunt have partnered with a top 50 international law firm in the search for a Partnership Accountant to join their experienced finance team in Manchester.
The firm, who have worldwide offices spanning over 35 countries are recognised for their outstanding reputation and legal work across a number of practice groups including Corporate, Energy, Financial Services and Insurance. They attract and retain the highest talent amongst their Legal Finance teams within the market and are looking to make another significant addition to their Manchester office.
Reporting into the highly experienced Head of Partnership Tax & Affairs, the successful Partnership Accountant will form a fundamental part of the team who are responsible for managing Partners' financial relationship with the firm; including profit sharing, remuneration and capital contributions.
In addition, key responsibilities for the successful Partnership Accountant will include:
- Assisting with the annual partner capital process
- Partner account reconciliation work
- Preparation of annual partner statements and monthly partner drawings
- Assisting with the maintenance of individual partner international reserves & DAC6 compliance
The successful Partnership Accountant will:
- Be qualified or part qualified (ACCA, ACA or equivelant)
- Have previous professional services experience dealing with Partner Capital.
- Have strong IT skills, particularly within MS Excel.
- Have clear verbal and written communication with a good ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Be able to work accurately in a timely fashion with the ability to self motivate and organise effectively.
