Morgan Hunt is delighted to be partnering with a Higher Education client in Glasgow in their search for a Planning Manager ( Maintenance ). This will suit someone with first class communication skills and previous Planning Management experience and have a sound knowledge of planned maintenance, building management and current health and safety legislation..
This is a 12 month contract.
The post-holder will be responsible for the leading the team to effectively schedule planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and compliance inspections in conjunction with the main contractor duties and responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities ( includes but not limited to )
- Oversee the planners (team of three)
- Work closely with the FM Manager /Tech Services Managers to look all planned events and organising reactive maintenance tasks that sit with the Estates team
- Liaise with the Hard FM contractor on their planned maintenance and with Estates maintenance team.
- Act as planning manager in overseeing the team responsible for the implementation of the Estates information Management system software for Estate's maintenance tasks.
Experience and capability
- Ability to demonstrate the competencies required to undertake the duties associated with this level of post
- Working knowledge of Facilities Management software system.
- A comprehensive practical knowledge and understanding of relevant statutory regulations relating to Building and Engineering maintenance.
