Job description
We have a current opportunity for a IT Project Manager on a permanent basis with a leading Glasgow based public sector body. The position will be based in Glasgow.
Essential Experience and Knowledge:
- Experience in leading the delivery of whole organisation system and/or process change projects.
- Experience supporting managers across the organisation to embed changes in systems and processes.
- Experience delivering projects to time and budget.
- Excellent understanding of effective project management systems and techniques.
- Knowledge and experience of implementing and delivering digital services to improve customer experience and service delivery.
- Proven experience of working at a senior level leading, managing and motivating others to deliver a customer focused ICT service.
- Development and management of budgets.
- Experience of policy and procedure development, demonstrating an innovative approach.
- Proven track record of delivering efficiency and value for money.
- Knowledge and experience of risk in a networked environment, ensuring appropriate controls are in place to safeguard the client.
Desirable Experience and Knowledge:
- Experience of working with governing bodies.
- Knowledge and experience of working with in the housing sector.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of requirements around data protection.
- Experience of procurement processes.
- Knowledge of controlling Microsoft Windows server 2008/2012, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft SQL server and a good understanding of networks.
