Morgan Hunt is proud to be partnering with the Association of British Insurers (ABI) in their search for a Public Affairs Advisor. The organisation is the voice of the UK's world-leading insurance and long-term savings industry. As a Public Affairs Advisor, you will work in collaboration with the External Affairs and across the wider organisation to expand its profile and influence. • Develop high-quality materials for internal and external stakeholders such as briefings ahead of Parliamentary debates, responding to Parliamentary Questions and Ministerial Statements, helping co-ordinate the ABI's work on legislation, Select Committee Inquiries, Government consultations and All Party Parliamentary Groups.
  • Oversee a programme of stakeholder and parliamentary engagement, representing the ABI and insurance industry whilst building long lasting professional relationships with Parliamentarians, government officials and wider stakeholders.
  • Perform horizon scanning and Parliamentary activity monitoring to ensure ABI staff receive accurate political information and can respond to Parliamentary developments accordingly.
