Reward Advisor, Birmingham

We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced a HR professional specialising in Pay and Reward.

  • Salary £32k-£38k p.a.
  • Hybrid working
  • Based in Birmingham

Role Reward Advisor

  • To support the Head of HR with the development and management of the companies reward and benefits strategy.
  • Participate in external salary benchmarking surveys, analyse the results, and make recommendations based upon them.
  • Respond to requests for job evaluation, using external salary data and internal comparisons to make sound recommendations.
  • Extract data from the HR information system and use Payroll data to prepare our annual Pay Gap reporting.
  • Support the annual salary review processes, including compiling data, modelling options
  • Review the company benefits provision
  • Review and create internal comms around company benefits, enrolment of staff into benefit schemes

Skills and Experience Reward Advisor

  • Experience of working in HR, ideally including reward.
  • Good knowledge of employee benefits, equality, legislation, and HR processes.
  • Skilled in using Excel to create spreadsheets, formulae, Pivot tables and charts
  • Strong analytical skills to review data and reports and make sound informed recommendations.
  • Skilled in writing e-mails, letters, reports, and other documents in plain English.
  • Presentation skills to provide complex information to others that they can understand.
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office products and HR information systems.
