IT Services are delighted to offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic, engaged, and technically qualified individual to join our dynamic Enterprise Applications team as an Enterprise Applications Specialist. This role is well suited to a forward-thinking individual with skills and experience in the management and support of finance platforms, who is seeking to progress their career in a busy and innovative workplace at one of the UK’s leading universities.
It is an exciting time for the University and IT Services with digital enhancement playing a key role in shaping the University’s future. As part of this digital enhancement, the University is undertaking the implementation of Oracle Cloud Financials where you will support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of this major platform.
You will hold a relevant IT or Finance related degree or PG qualification (or extensive equivalent experience) and have good practical experience in the support and maintenance of a finance system. You will have an understanding of the technical and business processes in a modern financial enterprise ment, including knowledge of the operational processes of finance such as P2P (Procure-to-Pay), I2C (Income-to-Cash) and tax.
You will assist in the coordination of testing for the new system and will act as a champion for the platform at the University. You will work with colleagues to create documentation, policies, and processes for the continued maintenance and development of the new platform, support training activities, and help identify efficiency gains for complex workflows.
This post will/may be primarily based at home although in person work will at times be required in University of St Andrews including the Eden Campus at Guardbridge, a state-of-the-art working ment for professional services units.
