Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Administration Assistant (development team) on a temporary basis until March 2023. This is a full time post which will offer hybrid working after training has been completed.

The position will be based in Glasgow. The main duties of the role are:

  • To provide administrative support to the Association's Development Team. To work flexibly as an active member of the team to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of Development, Major Repairs and Planned Maintenance services.
  • To communicate effectively as a first point of contact for service users, both on the telephone and in person, in relation to Major Repairs and other Development activities.
  • To liaise with contractors and other agencies on behalf of tenants and other customers to ensure a high quality of service delivery.

Skills and experience required are :

  • Good communication & administration skills
  • Previous experience of supporting the delivery of a Development/Major Repairs/ Planned Maintenance service or similar would be desirable
  • Experience of dealing with the public face to face and on the telephone and of delivering excellent customer service
  • Housing association experience desirable

This role will be to start ASAP.
