Job description
We have a current opportunity for a Housing Assistant on a temporary basis. The position will be based in Glasgow and will continue until the end of July. This is a part time post for 3 days per week which will be Mon - Wed.
You will be working in the Tenancy Team to provide a first-class service to tenants in all areas of Housing Services but with a particular focus on estate management and neighbour disputes, including anti-social behaviour.
Key Tasks
- Ensure Association's properties and common areas are inspected on a regular basis ensuring our key performance indicators are met.
- Liaise with tenants' face to face, wherever possible, on matters arising.
- Ensure inspection records are updated and maintained on our database.
- Proactively promote the introduction of close cleaning services.
- Ensure all anti social complaints received are recorded on our database.
- Ensure all complaints are acknowledged and dealt with in accordance with timescales
- Attend local liaison meetings, as requested by the Housing Officer - Tenancy Team.
- Administering changes to tenancies.
- Provide tenancy references.
- Conduct new tenancy sign up interviews.
- Conduct settling in visits.
Experience Required is:
Experience of time spent within a housing environment and estate management. Also experience of dealing with neighbour disputes and anti-social behaviour. Good IT skills and communication skills are essential.
The role is to start ASAP.
