Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for an Engagement and Change Specialist on behalf of our public sector client based in Edinburgh, for a 2-year Fixed Term Contract.
Salary; £43k-£52k
This role will bring targeted engagement and change communications leadership to our programme that is focused on building our capability and capacity to build a sector-leading research support service. With an approach to inclusive service co-creation this role will develop and implement a hands-on strategy and delivery plan, aiming to enable the transformation of research support across the organisation.
Duties;
- Lead and deliver an overarching change communication, transformation and engagement strategy and plan, ensuring that these meet the needs of the programme, stakeholders, and the organisation
- Work with the programme teams to plan, monitor and facilitate targeted engagement through workshops, webinars, conferences, brainstorming, developing ideas, and executing stakeholder communication strategies and tactics
- Consistently deliver high-quality work that translates complex ideas into compelling, polished, and straightforward language using a variety of techniques and channels to support the organisation's transformation from current state to future state, monitor needs and "what works", and adapting content/approach based on success
- Organise and manage digital content and communication tools e.g., SharePoint, PowerPoint, all digital copy, future toolkits etc
- Write and apply, in a professional setting, high impact messaging: combining words, creativity, graphics/visuals, and quantitative/numbers-based evidence in ways that resonate with the target audience
Experience & Skills;
- Experience in applying knowledge of transformation and internal change communications, processes, and techniques
- Strong facilitation experience; able to design and run engaging workshops in challenging and/or change-averse environments
- Experience in developing high-impact messaging, combining words, creativity, graphics, and quantitative evidence in ways that resonate with the target audience
- Demonstrate ability to gather, analyse, and present complex information into straightforward language
- Capable of providing innovative solutions to complex problems within short timescales
- Ability to analyse complex data and structures, identify critical success factors, and develop effective plans for implementation
