Job description

We have a current opportunity for a IT Service Desk Lead on a permanent basis with a well established Scottish hospice. The position will be based in Edinburgh. For further information about this position please apply.


Role Responsibilities

  • Take lead of a team of IT Service Analysts
  • Act as a Service Operations Manager for numerous IT services within the company
  • Maintain and ensure the Service Desk provides support
  • Offer both on site and remote IT support
  • Aid and resolve issues
  • Administrate Active Directory and other IT systems
  • Test and ensure there is continuous IT improvement

Role Requirements

  • Technical support knowledge
  • History of managing a team of 2 or more people
  • Problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of IT support frameworks
  • High standard if written and oral communication skills

Role Details

  • Permanent
  • Office based in Edinburgh
  • up to £30,000
  • Hybrid Working- must attend the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
  • Company offers 35 days holiday and the Lothian Pension Fund
