Senior User Researcher

Job description

Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for a well established public sector organisation who require a Senior User Researcher on a 6 month contract. This role can be based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh.

Role Responsibilities

• Ensure system touch-points during a users' life-time with the company are part of a coherent and consistent experience
• Conduct exploratory user research
• Ensure usability research is undertaken frequently, economically with appropriate users and measures as part of the development cycle
• Create high and low fidelity prototypes based on existing design patterns that being results from the research to life
• Deliver UX feedback to Agile delivery teams to compliment sprint cycles
• Support the UX community

Role Requirements

• Ability to understand the needs of technical and business stakeholders
• Experience working within an Agile environment
• Able engage in fostering a UX community
• User Research experience
• History of delivering first class government services following the Scottish Government Digital First Service Standard

Role Details

• 6 month contract (possibility of extension)
• Hybrid Working-must attend office 2/3 times a week
• Edinburgh or Glasgow based
• £400-£420 per day
• Outside IR35
