Operations Analyst

Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Operations Analyst on a temporary basis for a duration of 9 months. The position will be based in Glasgow with a hybrid working approach. The hours are 37.5 per week between Mon-Fri.

Responsibilities:

• Liaising with teams within and outside of the portfolio to understand and prioritise workload
• Dealing with queries on the phone and by email
• Managing and supporting payments to scheme participants
• Dealing with complaints and requests or contacting relevant teams and people to manage more complicated cases
• Supporting all aspects of operations and scheme related work
• Meeting the team's Key Performance Indicator targets
• Updating, developing, documenting, and streamlining business procedures to ensure robust and efficient processes
• Ability to build good relationships and credibility with a range of colleagues and external business contacts
• Identify instances of potential fraud and non-compliance and make recommendations to management and relevant teams

Skills required:

• The ability to work in a self-directed manner to a high quality, processing detailed information and evidence to make well supported decision
• Experience working with Microsoft excel
• Experience of working well in a team environment and working to own initiative. Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
