We have a current opportunity for a Development Officer on a temporary basis for around 4 months.
The position will be based in Selkirk although hybrid working is possible where you could potentially work 2 days in the office per week and the rest from home. Site visits will also be required.
You will be responsible for managing Affordable Housing development and major refurbishment projects. From inception, and site start to project completion, ensuring that properties are developed in compliance with the organisations standards and Scottish Government Grant conditions. Responsible for assisting in the development of project briefs and specifications.
The main duties of the role are:
The main experience required is:
good project management skills
experience of the financial appraisal of projects,
excellent MS Office particularly Excel and if possible,
if possible experience of the Scottish Government's HARP system.
