Facilities Co-Ordinator

£13 - £13.50 per hour

Job description

A 6 month temporary opportunity which could be extended for the right candidate. The role will be 21 hours per week which can be flexible.

As the Facilities Co-ordinator you will be responsible for the implementation of new commercial leases with leaseholders and to help develop processes and procedures with regards to the day to day running of the building. You will also be required to do the following:-

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Work with external advisers to assist in the implementation of new commercial leases with leaseholders
  • Develop a maintenance plan in conjunction with a relevant senior manager for the key items of plant and building fabric
  • Develop and implement relevant permit to work procedures for contractors and visitors to the centre to ensure
  • Undertake regular building inspections and report any repairs or maintenance issues
  • Investigate and develop new cleaning regimes and audits including any H&S control measures
  • Work with a senior manager to develop a short and medium term investment list

The experience you require will be :

  • Numeracy, literacy and computer skills to communicate with staff and handle cash.

  • Have good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work with and encourage a team of staff and volunteers.
  • Knowledge of maintenance and repairs procedures
