Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a Higher Education client in Aberdeen in their search for a Facilities Compliance Officer.

This is a 6-month contract position with an immediate start. Paid as an hourly rate (inside IR35)

Job Description:

The main purpose of this role is to ensure that the client complies with all H&S legislation and carbon footprint reduction relating to the day-to-day management and maintenance of the facilities, estates, and property by providing a professional advisory and audit function of all activities of Campus and Estates Services. The post holder will also be the named Person responsible for delivering on our climate change objectives.

Duties will include: (but not limited to)

• Manage the processes and coordinate the planning of all Compliance Maintenance activities to ensure consistency and accuracy are achieved across all Campus and Estates Service (CES) activities, records and logs. This will extend into the day-to-day control of the Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) and Building Management Systems.
• Audit the Compliance Maintenance processes, records and logs within Campus and Estates Services.
• Manage the CAFM database of client's assets and Maintenance plans and records as the single source of compliance regulation within CES's area of responsibilities.
• Oversee, audit, and develop CES's processes and procedures for the control of contractors to ensure compliance with CDM, Climate Change Targets and other relevant legislation.
• Provide professional advice on all issues relating to the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. Manage and co-ordinate the Asbestos Management across the organisation including input into all project work and maintenance activities.
• Provide support to the Facilities Manager on all aspects of Health and Safety Compliance pertaining to the Campus and Estates Maintenance activities.
