Morgan Hunt is delighted to be partnering with a client in Edinburgh in their search for a Facilities Operations Manager on a 6-month assignment.

The position will be based in Edinburgh for a period of 6 months initially.

Job Role:

As the FM Operations Manager in the organisation, you will be hands-on but can devise and implement operational systems to meet strategic vision and goals across the client's estate.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Delivery of business as usual property and Hard & Soft FM services
  • Managing H&S actions related to Property & FM
  • Establishing our contractual obligations, leases, and FM services and making recommendations
  • Ensuring incident/business continuity plans are fit for purpose.
  • Ensure all FM services are identified and plan for and or implement appropriate management systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Contribute to Maintenance strategy planning and implementation with responsibility for delivery of certain task
  • Delivery of Fire Safety management project
  • A key immediate objective will be to set up a helpdesk/ticketing system so we can manage all queries coming into the department.

Additional Duties & Objectives :

  • Assisting on Working Groups and delivering outputs arising: Environmental Policy, Business Continuity, H&S management, Workplace Strategy,
  • Purchase order and budget management: utilities and FM and property operations
  • Property & FM Helpdesk
  • Performance reporting: Business and usual activities/SLAs , Carbon Reporting,
  • Contract Management
