Your new company

You will be working for one of the market leading national house builders who are passionate about quality and customer satisfaction. Their customer range includes: residential homes and commercial builds involving public and private companies, local councils and government bodies. The residential housing division has been operating for over 40 years and are committed to the continuing success of their people and their brand. They can deliver projects ranging in size from twenty units to over a Thousand.

Due to growth and new development opportunities this has created and opening for an experienced Site Manager to join their team in the North East of Scotland.

Your new role

As a Site Manager you will be a key member of the site team. Your job will involve the delivery of all operational activities from the beginning of the project through to completion. You will have a technical capability to lead a project and manage a team. This will involve accurate programming, a high expectation of customer satisfaction and a safe working environment for all personnel. You will also be responsible for cost management, team and subcontractor management along with training and development. Your job will ensure the effective delivery of pre-agreed targets for the companies KPI's that include financial and operational performance and customer satisfaction. Other duties will include: project information, prelims; dayworks; labour; plant and material ordering along with cost reporting of additional works to your Construction Manager.

What you will need to succeed

You will come from a trades background and be able to evidence your ability to manage a multi-trade construction team and deliver projects on time; budget; safely and have a high expectation of customer satisfaction. You will have a 5-day CITB SMSTS, 3-day First Aid Certificate and a Management CSCS card. If you are Qualified to NVQ level 4 this would be an advantage but not essential.
