Trainer (Facilities Services)

Job description

Once again, Morgan Hunt is delighted to be partnering with a Higher Education client in their search for a Trainer for a 6-month contract.

Job Purpose:

To provide professional, customer focussed training support to Facilities Services across a range of business as usual and project work activities to ensure the delivery of the Facilities Services strategy and support the implementation and continuous development of the new operating model.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for establishing, in collaboration with subject matter experts and the Business Improvement Manager, a training plan which ensures all Facilities Services colleagues are appropriately inducted, trained, skilled, and have opportunities for development.
• Plan, design and deliver training interventions and skills development sessions across a range of Facilities Services teams and work activities to ensure high standards of delivery and customer service.
• Develop and maintain training plans, materials and records to support the Facilities Services culture of continuous improvement through high quality training
• Develop and maintain a good understanding of the specific remit and activities of the different teams, initially focused on Operations, to enable the proactive development of training solutions to meet the evolving needs of the service.
• Prepare documents, presentations, and other training materials to a clear brief from subject matter experts, using established formats and standard software packages.
• Deliver training to a high standard and act as the training subject matter expert for Facilities Services. Evaluate, monitor, and report on training outcomes and resultant business impact/benefits in liaison with subject matter experts/team leads.

Knowledge /Qualifications

• Ability to demonstrate the competencies required to undertake the duties associated with this level of post, having acquired the necessary knowledge and skills in a similar role Or: Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level 7 (Advanced Higher/ Scottish Vocational Qualification level 3, Higher National Certificate) or equivalent, and experience of personal development in a similar role.
