Morgan Hunt is working with one of Scotland's top organisations, and a market leader in their field to recruit a senior Helpdesk Engineer on a permanent basis.
To be eligible for this position you will have:
- Strong experience as a 2nd Line/ 3rd Line Support Engineer
- Experience of M365
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical members of staff
- Strong understanding of Windows/MS Office/Mac OS
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues

The role itself:
- Provide support for the internal IT environment
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
- Management of tickets and service requests
- Keep up to date with new emerging technologies
- Lend a hand to bigger projects when needed
- Respond to day-to-day queries related to system issues, performance, user requests/queries, web and email services via telephone, email ticketing platform
- Maintain support tickets correctly and keep the client updated with progress every day
- Install and support hardware components including laptops, monitors, and mobile devices
- Take responsibility for the ensuring the clients Asset Management inventory is accurate and Starters, Leavers, Change process is followed
- Communicate with different teams and third parties when necessary to resolve queries
Role Details:
- £38,000- 45,000
- Hybrid Working from their prestigious Edinburgh office
- 1-2 days per week in the office
