Oracle ERP Master Data Analyst

Job description

Morgan Hunt are working with a Scottish success story who have sites across the World. They require a Oracle ERP Master Data Analyst on a contract basis for a min 6 month contract.

Principle purpose of the role:

• Entry and update of master data records into the Oracle ERP system
• Facilitate and support the master data authorisation and change control process
• Support the business with provision of management information reports related to master data.

Main accountabilities:

• Support the ERP business unit with responsibility for master data maintenance.
• Enter and maintain all product codes, their product categories, and cross references into Oracle.
• Enter, maintain, and manage data entry of customers and suppliers into Oracle.
• Enter, maintain, and manage formulas, recipes, and resources in Oracle.
• All data elements to be entered to a high standard of accuracy, ensuring the timely addition, and tracking of new and changing information.
• Run weekly reports relating to master data and ensure that they are made available for other departments.
• Communicate effectively with various departments and business units ensuring standard procedures for master data entry are adhered to.
• Provide support and cover for Group Master Data Analyst.
• Oracle system administration, creation of Employee records, Oracle userids and assigning responsibilities.
• Occasional creation and maintenance of users in non-Oracle systems.
• Daily checks of incoming and outgoing EDI orders against system reports.

• Rate Flexible
• Must be eligible to work in the UK- no sponsorship will be given
