Job description

Morgan Hunt are working with a leading not for profit client who are based in Edinburgh. They require a helpdesk analyst/ 1st Line Support on an initial 1 month contract , with a possible permanent role offered at the end (£24-27k).


Role:-

  • To support users via the help desk as required.
  • To assist the systems Engineers with maintaining and developing the businesses telephony and e-mail systems.
  • To assist in the Administration of the businesses Microsoft SQL databases including configuring and maintaining SQL backups
  • To provide customer focused technical support to internal and external clients as required
  • To install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
  • To produce and maintain IT-related procedures and documentation

Experience Required:-

  • Strong Helpdesk/ 1st Line Support Experience
  • Experience of a Windows 2008 server environment including administration of Active Directory
  • Printer Configuration and maintenance
  • Experience in the use and support of Microsoft Office applications

Details:-

  • Opportunity to move to a permanent position
  • One Month Initial Contract
  • Hybrid Role- would like candidates in Edinburgh office, at least twice per week (depending on restrictions)
  • Rate Flexible based on Experience
