Organisational Development Specialist

£250 - £350 per day

Job description

We have an opportunity for an Organisational Development Specialist on a contract basis until March 2022. Paying up to £350 per day and offering remote/hybrid working with offices based in Edinburgh.

Reporting to the OD Performance and Change Manager the Organisational Development Specialist will support with the alignment of strategy, people, and processes across the business.

Role for the Organisational Development Specialist

  • Work with managers to identifying gaps, opportunities and barriers in structure, people, processes, or culture that are impacting on delivery of organisational, team goals and new ways of working
  • Assess the capability and culture to develop OD interventions at a team and individual level to influence changes
  • Analyse, identify, and utilise design options relating to organisational structures and relationships as appropriate
  • Understand the strategic direction of the organisation and where OD can best add value
  • Lead and facilitate the implementation of OD interventions, programmes and plans within business constraints
  • Work with stakeholders to support them in developing the case for the necessary change plans
  • Identify and develop suitable metrics which measure achievements, adoption success and overall performance
  • Design and recommend suitable organisational design models and approaches which demonstrably support business priorities meet the needs of the organisation

Profile for the Organisational Development Specialist

  • Experience of working with an HR or OD function
  • Experience of project management and managing change
  • Qualification in Organisational Development and/or Organisational Design
  • Experience of working on OD, Org Design, change or similar interventions or projects
