Morgan Hunt are working with a government organisation to recruit a Senior Data Quality Manager.
The role is responsible for supporting with the development of a data governance framework which may include implementing new policies, standards and procedures that continue to evolve and adapt as required.
The role will facilitate with the availability, usability, integrity, and regulatory compliance of Ofgem's data.
The essential criteria for this role is:
- Significant experience in delivering significant data quality improvements with a deep understanding of data quality assessment and remediation applications/platforms (Lead)
- Strong background in in ensuring data quality compliance and improvement including (Lead): -Data profiling
- Data discovery
- Information chain analysis and management
- Root cause analysis
- Cost-benefit analysis
- Broad experience across all aspect of Information Management including strategy, architecture, delivery, and reporting & analytics.
- Strong background in in ensuring policy compliance and an understanding of GDPR and DPA
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required given the diverse nature of Ofgem's operating landscape with proven stakeholder management, communication, management, and negotiation skills
- Strong business understanding of core data processes and functions.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to translate big picture needs into practical operational actions
Role:-
- Glasgow or Cardiff £43,474 -£67,198 -London £46,699 -£71,998
- 38 days holiday
- Nearly 30% Pension
- 2 Year Fixed Term with a strong chance this will be made permanent
- 1 day per week in the office (Glasgow, Cardiff or London), 4 days from home
