Job description

We have a current opportunity for a Business/Data Analyst to work with our public sector clients on number of Health Data projects. The role can be performed anywhere in the UK with only 1 day per quarter required to be on site for a quarterly meeting.

Salary £33-41k DOE

You will act as the single point of contact for the department to aid coordination and management of our JIRA/Power BI and Sharepoint platforms. You will elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, site visits, use cases, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. You will develop dashboards and reports (ideally in PowerBI) and work with the team to improve the quality of the underpinning data. Ideally, you will be expected to have a good understanding of the development opportunities and the state-of-the-art technologies available to match these requirements.

You will be expected to take a role in design and implementation and also be a hands-on developer of these systems. You must be able to work independently. Manage your own projects to completion, as well as providing support for others. The candidate must feel comfortable taking ownership and driving key work areas within the business support team.

You will help us to improve our business processes, proactively communicating and collaborating with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional requirements and ensure delivery of the appropriate product. You will work with staff to identify required changes and be the JIRA liaison between the HIC business units, technical teams and support team.

Skills/Experiences Required;
* Experience of working with enterprise level reporting and project management systems
* Demonstrable experience of data and business analysis
* Analytical skills with the ability to distil complex data into concise recommendations for action within software tools
* Able to show independent initiative and develop novel solutions
* Experience of working with customers to understand their requirements and be able to create solutions that meet these requirements.
* Experience of developing reports and dashboards in an enterprise system such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview, R Shiney, complex excel macros.
* Business analysis skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to both technical staff and senior management.
* Experience of preparing technical proposals, reports and processes.
* Experience of establishing a clear set of project goals and delivering projects within agreed timescales.
* Experience of planning projects and setting expectations
