Job Title: Chef Manager / Head Chef

Location: Wolverhampton

Hours: 37 per week

Hourly rate: £14/£14.50 per hour + holiday pay.

Overview:

We are recruiting for a Head Chef at one of our Education setting in Wolverhampton. As this role is an immediate start temporary position we require you to already have a Valid Enhanced Child Work Force DBS.



Key Responsibilities:

• To organise and assist in the preparation and presentation of all meals (participating as necessary) at the required time, being provided to the standard laid down in the Service specification and to the organizations, Customer's satisfaction.
• Ensure that all food is prepared with due care and attention, particularly in regard to customers' special dietary requirements: for example, nut, dairy or wheat allergies.
• To ensure that the accountancy, documentation and administration procedures are carried out to the laid down standard and that the necessary weekly returns are completed accurately and sent to the appointed office on time. This may be electronically, paper-based, or both, as instructed.
• To implement and maintain the Statutory and College standards of hygiene, health and safety and take any action as is necessary.
• Manage finances within the department.
