Finance Business Partner

Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner full time permanent basis with a reputable charity on a hybrid basis. This Finance Business Partner role is paying up to £45,000 per annum and will give study support!

The Finance Business Partner will be providing strong financial support to the charity and is a great role for someone who is completing their studies and wants to gain valuable experience.

Main Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner:

• Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, tracking actuals against forecasts and delivering performance reports.
• Lead the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, while identifying potential risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with management to provide relevant analysis and insights, supporting cost control and strategic decision-making.
• Enhance reporting processes, focusing on improving efficiency and delivering more valuable insights.
• Support the year-end audit and related activities.

Person Specification of the Finance Business Partner:

• Progressing towards ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial data.
• Expertise in analysing data and using Excel to turn insights into practical recommendations.
• Able to challenge and refine processes to drive efficiency and improve reporting quality.
• Strong communicator with the ability to work effectively with both financial and non-financial teams.
• Skilled at managing competing priorities and balancing stakeholder needs.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Jet reporting is a plus.
