Civica Open Revenues Systems Officer

Morgan Hunt's London based client is looking for a Civica Open Revenues Systems Officer to join their team.

In order to be immediately effective in this position the ideal candidate will have previous experience with:

• Working as a member of a team to provide system support functions for the Revenues/Benefits and Business Rates Services' IT systems
• reconciliation of payment functions within Revenues/Benefits and Business Rates Services
• undertaking the day to day administration of the Revenues/Benefits/Business Rates computer systems, including batch processing, producing reports, running test data, dealing with queries and errors and monitoring the systems' performance to ensure continued efficiency and effectiveness
• Writing complex queries using programming languages such as iSQL, AWK, Perl.
• Correcting or appending data using a tool like QBF or equivalent
• Providing database support for the Revenues & Benefits databases using such languages as SQL, iSQL, Ingres or any other equivalent language.
• Providing first line to users and answering enquiries whilst keeping senior manager and used informed of IT failures, changes in procedures and legislative requirements.
• Providing guidance to Systems Support Assistants in the scheduling of daily batch work and queries and providing training if necessary.
• Creating and maintaining databases and spreadsheets in response to service requests
