Summary

Morgan Hunt are working with a leading social housing provider, currently looking for Specialist Surveyors to join their newly created damp and mould team.

As a Damp & Mould Surveyor, you'll play a crucial role in identifying and addressing damp and mould concerns in resident's homes and communal areas. Reporting to the Senior Specialist Surveyor, you'll diagnose root causes and develop corrective specifications of work. Your excellent communication skills will be key in building trust and rapport with stakeholders.



Responsibilities

• Conducting damp & mould surveys and producing schedules of work.
• Collaborating with operational colleagues to provide technical support.
• Keeping residents informed throughout the intervention process.
• Performing quality inspections of completed works.
• Maintaining compliance with organisational standards and procedures.

About you

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in building surveying techniques.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility and excellent time management skills
• RICS or CIOB certification (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
