An excellent Further Education (FE) college in Greater Manchester is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Department- Service Industries, to join their team on a permanent basis.



About the Role: As the Head of Department for Service Industries, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic development and management of a range of Educational Curriculum areas. You will lead a talented team of educators, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning, and work closely with senior leadership to drive innovation and excellence in college curriculum.



Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, delivery, and quality assurance of the Curriculum areas
• Manage and develop a team of dedicated tutors and Curriculum Leaders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the college to enhance the learner experience.
• Ensure compliance with external regulatory bodies and maintain the highest standards of education.
  
  

About You:

• Proven experience at Curriculum management/ Head of level within the FE sector.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
• A commitment to delivering outstanding educational outcomes for all students.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• EQA/IQA experience
