Job description

• Teaching Level 1 to 3
• A degree in Travel and Tourism, would be suitable to teach the role- perfect part time opportunity
• Working for an FE College in Greater Manchester

Responsibilities of Travel and Tourism Lecturer:

• Working in the Travel and Tourism Department, you will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet standards of work
• Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students across the College as required

Core Purpose:

• To teach students assigned to the teacher and to ensure that planning, preparation,
• recording, assessment and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs.
• To contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
• To monitor and assess student progress to improve their quality of learning and personal growth

Requirements of a Travel and Tourism Lecturer:

• A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent
• Experience of delivering the subject.
• A Travel related Degree is essential
• A current DBS on the update service
